Spice up your resume, LinkedIn profile, and interview dialogue with specifics that can only be associated with you. A recent LinkedIn posting set off alarms. The posting person, an accomplished writer, was falsely accused of using AI to create work she submitted. Reason? AI builds its responses from the best writing out there. Result? It produced good writing, but it resembles AI generated output! To overcome this challenge, we will demonstrate ways to write that sound unique to you and uses specific circumstances only you can describe. We will discuss going through a typical resume and tagging bland and generic words AI might use. Then we’ll examine fresher, more specific, and unique ways to express your thoughts. Fresher might mean conversational and newsworthy. Specific could evoke senses (touch, feel, smell). Unique might speak to purpose or ideals and values. We will employ word replacements that help you stand above and shine. Join us in sharing ideas and insights into this topic. Raise job searching questions and offer tips to share, too.
