mak-'amham/Cafe Ohlone

Every month, join mak-'amham/Cafe Ohlone founders Vincent Medina and Louis Trevino as they discuss a topic related to East Bay Ohlone culture, experiences, and community. Through this partnership, the Berkeley community can learn about and celebrate East Bay Ohlone culture as a vital, vibrant part of the Bay Area's past, present, and future. Tea and a snack will be served. This event is being held at ‘oṭṭoytak, the current iteration of Cafe Ohlone. ‘oṭṭoytak is located on the Cal campus at Bancroft on College Avenue outside the Hearst Museum of Anthropology. If you are using a digital map, put "Cafe Ohlone" or “Hearst Museum of Anthropology” as your destination. Doors open at 3:30pm and there is no seating outside of the venue so do plan accordingly. The cafe is outdoors with some shade, so be sure to dress with the weather in mind. In-person sessions are limited to 40 guests due to space constraints.
