Explore the hidden abundance growing in our neighborhoods—loquats overhanging sidewalks, untended plums, elderberries, citrus, and more! In this talk and tasting, Daniel Goldberg of Feral Ecology will help us collectively liberate this fruity goodness into our hands and homes—exploring the themes & topics of ancestral foodways, foraging, and fermentation all in one juicy and sweet afternoon. Feral Ecology makes natural wines & ciders from feral fruit, and serves as a community resource for education on foraging and fermentation! They aim to build a direct relationship with the land, celebrate diverse traditions, and cultivate wholeness for a more resilient future.
