Check out the FANTASTIC cast of The Gull, part of our Champagne Staged Reading Series. The Gull, is reimagining of Anton Chekhov’s The Seagull, written and directed by Tara Blau Smollen. Set in 1938 Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard, this multiracial adaptation follows a Black Hollywood radio star returning home to convince her son to leave behind his artistic dreams for a future in Hollywood, forcing both to confront ambition, identity, love, and sacrifice.
